Our friend Russell Brown is a man of many talents. As one of the South West’s leading chefs he held a Michelin star for 5 consecutive years at his restaurant Sienna in Dorset. He is also a writer and photographer with work published in many local and national newspapers and magazines.
Earlier this year Russell sold Sienna to concentrate on writing, photography and consultancy, there’s much more about this on his website Creative About Cuisine including a wonderful piece about quinces.
Russell is currently writing (and photographing) a series of monthly articles about seasonal produce for The Caterer. When Russell went to see tomato grower Gary Griffiths at Nutbourne Tomatoes we tagged along.
