Elliott Lidstone Cooks New Cross Asparagus

Box-E is an 18 seater restaurant owned and run by Tess and Elliott Lidstone. It is housed in two shipping containers in Bristol’s Wapping Wharf.

Box-E opened in late 2016 and rapidly established itself as one of Bristol’s very best. In a city stuffed with brilliant restaurants that’s no mean feat. Don’t take our word for it though, here’s Jay Rayner’s Observer review.

The Hebditch family have been farming at New Cross Fruit Farm in Somerset since 1948. Today William and Liz grow a quite remarkable range of fruit and vegetables.
