South American Satsumas are superb quality at the moment - a must-have for any fruit basket. Raspberries are becoming more difficult to find good quality until the English start at the end of the Month. This will then be followed by Blueberries later in June.

Strawberry – English is available now as well as Belgium and Dutch with Spanish season coming to an end New-season Southern Hemisphere Apples have now all but replaced European top fruit; Supplies will come from New Zealand, South African and South America. The fruit will be crisp and juicy ….. and reassuringly expensive!
The British Asparagus season is now well underway offering exceptional value for money with the superior taste to that of the imported supplies. Home-grown Fresh Peas and Broad Beans will be a welcome addition to any vegetable basket when they become available in late May.
